Context

The Position is within the Finance department of Constellium French Holdings. It is based in in Paris, France. The position is a temp contract from June 2026 to March 2027 to replace one team member on maternity leave. 

The Constellium French Holdings’ accounting department consists of approx. 7 professionals and is responsible for all accounting, reporting, compliance, planning and budgeting activities for the French corporate entities of Constellium. 

 

Primary Purpose

The incumbent supports the finance team of Constellium French Holdings by performing and assuming responsibilities for accounting (especially bank accounting), controlling, and cash forecasting for those entities.
Reporting to Finance Manager of Constellium French Holdings, it is a high visibility role which contributes to making sure that accounts are maintained up to date, that monthly reporting is done timely and with high quality, that cash forecast is produced on a weekly basis with good accuracy, and that internal control framework (SOX) is maintained with no deficiency. 

 

Key Responsabilities 

 

Main Accounting tasks:

•    Booking of daily & monthly transactions for all related bank accounts of Constellium French Holdings. (including cash pooling, netting transactions and financing transactions) and preparation of bank reconciliations.  
•    Preparation and monitoring of weekly payments (SAP and manual) for Constellium French Holdings. 
•    Preparation and monitoring of weekly direct cash forecast sent to Treasury Team for all French Holdings and monthly reconciliation between indirect and direct cash forecast. 
•    In charge of monthly accounting close for cash & hedging, including SOX controls for Cash and Fi and Hedging process.
•    In charge of booking journal entries linked to accruals and prepaids of the period and justifying the relevant accounts. 
•    In charge of tangible and intangible assets: creation of new assets, monthly depreciation booking and justification of relevant accounts, preparation of SOX documentation.

 

Main Controlling tasks: 

•    Production of monthly flash report for Constellium French Holdings analyzing variances to forecast, budget and prior year actuals. 
•    In relation to Accounting Manager Paris holdings, in charge of the monthly forecast sent to controlling team for Paris holdings team with focus on labor and non labor costs. 
•    Participation to annual true-up exercise consisting in reviewing variance vs budgeted costs for corporate costs in order to adjust invoicing to intercompany entities of the Constellium Group.
•    Producing any ad-hoc analysis for Corporate Finance team. 

 

Leadership competencies, technical skills requirements

•    Education in accounting, business administration or in a related field, minimum Bachelor degree.
•    Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in a multinational organisation.
•    Very good accounting skills with operational experience in a multinational environment (IFRS/US gaap + French Gaap). 
•    Good understanding of treasury processes (including cash forecasting processes). 
•    Result oriented and process driven.
•    Accountability, strong analytical skills, strong detail oriented and problem-solving mentality.
•    Ability to work and communicate in cross-organizational and multi-functional teams in a global matrix organization with manufacturing operations and an international mind-set.
•    Excellent user knowledge of Microsoft office applications, knowledge of treasury (Openlink), accounting (SAP) and reporting systems (HFM).
•    Language fluency in English and French.
