Accounts Payable Lead

Job Summary:

This position has the primary responsibility for leading the work of the Accounts Payable team. The AP Lead will be directly responsible for processing vendor invoices/employee expense reports, have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while maintaining positive relationships with internal business partners and external vendors and suppliers.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Senior Accounting and Reporting Manager in improving accounting reporting control system with sound compliance system in place.
• Develop a roadmap to scale up the volume of invoices processed by Constellium’s Robot Processing Automation (RPA) technology.
• Reviewing, tracking and reporting the performance of Accounts Payable team with external bench marking, simplify the processes and improve team's performance.
• Ensuring Adherence to SOX requirements and periodic review of SOX documentation for the processes of P2P and FSCP and liaison with auditors.
• Compliance with statutory requirements including issuance of 1099s to vendors, collecting W9 and W8 as required for processing payments to vendors.
• Participating in closing activities and working with user teams.
• Sort, code and match invoices against invoice receipts in ERP system (Plex).
• Enter and process invoices into the system and set invoices up for payment.
• Review and verify invoices/check requests for proper approval process.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years' of relevant working experience in accounts payable
• Extended knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Word and Power Point)
• Proficient in data entry and management
• Strong analytical skills, initiative, transparency, ethical conduct and result orientation
