Digital Transformation Manager
Job Summary:
The Digital Transformation Manager leads the strategy, roadmap, and execution of high‑value digital initiatives that enhance manufacturing performance, reliability, and efficiency. The role serves as a critical link between Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, Continuous Improvement, and IT, ensuring that digital solutions address real plant‑floor challenges and deliver measurable, sustained impact.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement a comprehensive digital transformation strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Assess current systems, processes, and technologies to identify improvement opportunities.
- Manage and deliver digital projects, ensuring they meet scope, timeline, and budget targets.
- Coordinate IT, OT, Operations, Engineering, CI, and other departments to drive transformation efforts.
- Oversee project interdependencies, risks, and resource allocation.
- Identify and recommend digital tools, automation, AI/ML use cases, IoT solutions, and advanced analytics that improve efficiency and performance.
- Ensure new technologies integrate seamlessly with existing infrastructure and systems.
- Lead change management, including communication, training, and support for frontline and leadership teams.
- Foster a digital culture that encourages innovation, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
- Track KPIs, digital maturity, and value realization across digital programs.
- Provide stakeholders with regular updates and performance reports.
- Ensure digital initiatives support operational goals such as throughput, reliability, quality, and customer experience.
- Continuously develop and review transformation roadmaps in alignment with long‑term business planning.
- Ensure digital operations comply with cybersecurity, data governance, and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with data teams to improve data accessibility, analytics capability, visualization, and reporting.
- Use insights to inform strategy, continuous improvement, and business optimization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
- Advanced coursework or exposure to digital technologies, data analytics, system design, strategic planning, and business models is highly beneficial.
- Hands‑on experience with modern digital technologies such as:
- Cloud computing
- Data analytics
- IoT
- AI/ML
- Python Programming
- Automation / RPA
- SQL
- 5+ years of relevant experience leading digital initiatives
- Strong strategic & Leadership Skills
- Ability to define digital strategy, set transformation roadmaps, and lead cross‑functional teams.
- Strength in resource allocation, budgeting, KPI oversight, and risk management.
- Strong stakeholder engagement capabilities across senior leadership, IT, OT, operations, and external partners.
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, cloud, IoT, big data).
- Ability to assess current-state systems, identify optimization opportunities, and evaluate digital maturity models.
- Data-driven decision making and experience defining KPIs, metrics, and ROI models.
- Change Management & Process Skills (define process skills?)
- Experience leading organizational change and building digital culture.
- Process reengineering and the ability to redesign business models using digital tools.
- Ability to drive adoption, training, and communication across the organization.
- Influential communicator comfortable driving change across multiple departments.

- Ability to manage ambiguity and operate effectively in undefined or rapidly evolving environments.
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments, especially with MES, process control, and factory digitalization
